AAC Walker VB is a high-yielding, awned CWRS wheat variety with midge tolerance, delivering strong agronomic performance across Western Canada. During site-years of testing, it outyielded AAC Brandon by 7% and Carberry by 16%. It offers equal maturity to Carberry, short height and good lodging resistance, along with solid kernel and test weights. AAC Walker VB has shown moderate resistance to Fusarium head blight, with consistent performance across multiple locations and years, and demonstrates strong resistance to leaf, stem, and stripe rusts. AAC Walsh is a high yielding CWRS with that yields above Brandon. It has a large kernel size and very strong disease resistance. It has shown low DON accumulation in grain and improvements to grain protein, flour protein, falling number, and milling properties.
